Chase Farms has a family friendly environment and offers lessons for all ages, starting at two years old and up! Whether you are interested in showing and competing or just interested in enhancing your skills as an equestrian- Chase Farms has a program to fit you!
We offer Tiny Tot lessons, Mommy & Me lessons, Private, Semi-Private and Group lessons. In addition, we offer Summer Camps, Holiday Camps, Birthday Parties and Adult Group lessons.
Chase Farms boasts one of the largest and most successful lesson programs in the area as well as a great and competitive Academy and Show team!
Chase Farms is located at 146 Federal Hill Rd, Hollis, NH on 31 picturesque acres. Our farm offers the largest private indoor arena in the region as well as heated and air conditioned areas, Wi-Fi, a kids locker room and several tack rooms.
Our Services
Riding Lessons
We are a full-service horseback riding academy specializing in Saddleseat and Hunt Seat riding. Riders of all ages and ability levels are welcome from complete beginners to advanced riders. We proudly start riders as young as age 2 in our Tiny Tot program.
Each rider is thoughtfully paired with the appropriate horse and professional riding instructor to ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable learning experience. With 28 well-trained lesson horses and five experienced instructors, our team works together to help every rider build confidence, develop skills, and reach their individual riding goals.
We offer a variety of lesson options including private, semi-private, group, and Mommy & Me lessons. All new riders begin in a special beginner private lesson program (for up to two months) to establish a strong foundation, assess comfort level, and ensure the best horse and program placement.
Lessons can be purchased as part of our monthly tuition based program, which guarantees riders the same weekly time slot with the same instructor, creating consistency and steady progress. Lessons may also be purchased à la carte for those who prefer flexible scheduling. Our highly organized scheduling system allows lessons to run on time with instructors who are always excited and prepared to teach.

Birthday Parties
Having your birthday party at Chase Farms is an exciting new way to celebrate the coming of a new year! Don’t get stuck doing the same old party everyone else is doing, show your guests a great time with a thrilling new way to celebrate! Girls and boys of all ages will enjoy the opportunity to meet our team of lesson horses and spend an afternoon with them in the indoor or outdoor arena by participating in pony rides! All of our experienced staff love children and have ample experience with new riders.
Have your birthday party with us and leave them saying “That was the best party I’ve ever been to!”
Pony Party: $475.00
This is the most popular party option at Chase Farms and is suitable for ages 3 and up. This party will include grooming demonstrations and the chance for each child to groom a horse or pony, the chance to feed a horse a treat, as well as a pony ride for each child. If your child is a current rider at Chase Farms, they will have the chance to do a demonstration to show off their riding skills to friends and family. Parties are limited to 10 children; each additional child will be an extra $10.00. A spacious heated/air conditioned lounge is available for you to decorate and celebrate in for this special day.
**Other birthday party options are available for advanced riders, current Chase Farms clients, teenagers and adults upon request**
Horse Back Riding Camps
We offer horseback riding camps all year round for children of all ages and ability levels. Campers will ride horses and ponies, make new friends and have fun! Campers are matched up with one of the farm’s school horses or ponies and learn to care for their equine partner while getting to know other “horse-loving” kids. The riding portion of camp is carefully tailored to each camper’s riding ability in a group setting. All beginners start safely on a lead line with an experienced counselor. Campers will learn horse anatomy and horse care, enjoy lunch and snacks, watch demonstrations and create equine-inspired crafts. Please contact us for camp dates and prices.
Chase Farms Horseback Riding Camp Activities Include:

*Not all of the listed activities are done at every camp. Each camp is formatted daily and parents will be provided with a schedule prior to the camp day.
February School Vacation Camp
Give your child a fun, active, and unforgettable school vacation at the barn! Our February vacation horseback riding camp is perfect for riders of all levels who love horses and want to spend their break learning, riding, and making new friends.Each day includes a full riding lesson, along with hands-on horse experience such as grooming, tacking up, fun horse activities, team-building games, and horse-themed crafts. campers will also enjoy a special training clinic led by our head trainer, giving them a unique opportunity to learn more about horse care, riding skills, and barn life.
Seasonal Trail Rides
Experience the joy of horseback riding with our one hour guided trail rides, perfect for families, friends, and anyone looking to spend time in the saddle, ages 8 and up. Whether you’re a first time rider or have years of experience, our well trained, gentle horses are carefully matched to each rider to ensure a safe, comfortable, and fun experience.
Our guided rides are designed for pure enjoyment a chance to unplug, unwind, and experience the joy of horseback riding. You’ll enjoy a calm, scenic walk through our trails and fields, matched with a horse perfect for you, and guided the entire way by our friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Pricing:
• 6 or more riders: $80 per person
• 5 or fewer riders: $100 per person
Scheduling:
Trail rides are offered by appointment only and must be scheduled 2–3 weeks in advance. All rides are subject to weather.
Booking Policy:
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Our 24-hour cancellation policy applies to all trail rides.

Meet Our Staff
Colleen Fitzpatrick
Owner & Head Trainer
Colleen is the owner and head trainer of Chase Farms, starting this family-run business back in 2009. With over 30 years of experience in the equestrian business, Colleen attended college, studying business management and Equine science, followed by years of working for knowledgeable, experienced horse trainers in several states across the country.
Successfully competing, as well as taking her own riders and horses to some of the top horse shows in the country, Colleen and her staff have built one of the largest and most successful riding programs in New England.
With everything she has accomplished in her career, Colleen is the most proud and thankful for the team she has and their ability to change and improve childrens lives with horses!
